We spent a few hours on an instructive walk towards Fosso dell’Inferno. Aurora Montanari, an arts management student, Lucia Ferri, a visual artist and geologist, and Stefano Ciarloni joined the working group.

Angela Sanchioni told us about the history of the hilly landscape around San Costanzo and how collaborations form among plants, or where certain plants grow and why. In the evening, after dinner, the discussion continued for a long time, opening up to reflections, questions, and perspectives on her work and the relationship between territory, cultivation, and care.

Angela Sanchioni has been involved with the project from the beginning, with the initial texts, and after the artists arrived, she has been part of the working group many times, almost every day. We are fortunate to have met her!
