It is a term from biology that indicates the biodiversity observed in a specific territory. The project’s question arises from an observation and a desire.
The observation is that plants are social beings: a fact known for many years. An article published in La Repubblica on 06/11/2008, which describes the social nature of plants, accompanied me until the realization of this project. Moreover, plants are not like human beings. And: human beings live because plants exist. This awareness seems to have been relegated to the background.
My – and our – desire is to find ways to copy or translate: relationship strategies that plants use to communicate and create. We want to experiment and learn.
