On the last evening, we spent time with the community, inviting them to a shared dinner and, beforehand, to visit the poetic traces, installed for one evening only in the library hall, which had served as our studio during the residency.

The ARCI club hosted us for the dinner in the covered garden room connected to the library through the courtyard of Palazzo Cassi. With the help of club members and two volunteers, we set up the space.

After visiting the five exhibited works, a lively discussion developed among the people at the table: some already knew each other, others had participated in previous meetings, and still others joined only that evening. There were about forty of us.

Three long tables, close to the buffet, held savory and sweet dishes brought by the participants, along with water, wine, and cutlery made from recycled plastic. Even in this context, we sought consistency with the ecological thinking underlying the project: from the requirement for artists to arrive by train to the gesture of the shared dinner.

For the project, this invitation represented a moment of giving back and gratitude. All the people involved were present, including the family who provided the house for the artists and a scientist working on a thesis about urban regeneration through relational art projects.
