ResidenzaLAB is a poetic exercise in conviviality, participation, and a three-year workshop.

Plants need each other to live. We explore the ecosocial question: How can we understand and transform their abilities to participate in our future? Through a working group created by Annex Cultura ETS, we connect people with diverse life paths and artists from Italy and neighboring countries. All participants are active members of the project: artists, citizens, other associations, curators, and experts who collaborate.

The ResidenzaLAB experience aims to create situations where thinking and acting collaboratively occur through listening, study, and dialogue. Guests engaged in various artistic fields collaborate with local experts and artists to create good practices of dialogue between different realities, lives, and languages.

We think of this project as a large heterogeneous group, where the transmission of knowledge and interest in the various aspects of the question: How can we learn from plant societies? will make its way through the three years of this experience.

A documentation, each year, will grow as a source of good practices, distributed to those who wish to start an open process, with the aim of a shared change as a sustainable model.

The second edition will take place from September 16 to 30, 2026, in San Costanzo.
